Weisses Kreuz, Stadelhofen, Zürich

Who didn’t go to school in Zurich and spend time at the Weisses Kreuz ? I am not a big fan of chain companies which run multiple restaurants, but I am willing to make one big exception for Beffa Gastro. They are committed to running some iconic Swiss places and are keeping the souls of these places intact. The Weisses Kreuz does draw on a pretty diverse crowd and is serving decent food at decent prices. The venison bratwurst and the red cabbage were tasty, the roeschti decent. Good place for a quick bite in the city.
