Following up from reviewing Anna’s Best now is the time for Betty Bossi. In my mind Betty is the slighlty more mature woman than Anna, she’s been on the block longer, I’d judge her to be the better cook, albeit a tad more conservative in her cooking style. If I had to compare them to real women, I’d say Betty is like Annemarie Wildeisen and Anna more like Anja Zeidler.

The cast is new, some kind of advanced plastic as the attentive observer will have noticed. Taking a shower now costs me 5 CHF a pop, due to the usage of shower foils. Just recently did someone tell me these can be reused… But back to more pressing issue, the COOP Betty Bossy Lachs an Zitronensauce mit Reis (salmon with lemon sauce & rice). As expected the salmon was dead and dry. The lemon sauce was tasty, the broccoli still had a little bite to it and the rice wasn’t as overcooked & mushy as expected. Still the claim was that these are dishes just like if you had cooked it fresh from scratch and are seen as being on par. It must have been someone who grew up behind the iron curtain who wrote that claim, because it has nothing to do with fresh cooked food. Funny by the way if you try to look it up on the Coop Homepage you will find this piece of cat food, which Maybe that’s a sign ?
