Gnocchi

We headed to Michelangelo for a quick dinner before moving on. The place is obviously setup for families and has a welcoming atmosphere and enough room to let the little rascals roam around. If you show up a bit later in the evening the families are less and the non family dining crowd takes over. I forgot to take a picture of the salad before it was eaten. It was tasty and quiet large. There’s a real wood fired oven in the corner which is churning out pizzas and gives it a typical pizzeria atmosphere. My main course were some Gnocchi with Porcini and cream. The Gnocchi didn’t feel homemade but were okay and so was the sauce. All in all the prices were very fair, food was okay and the portions large. A very decent italian restaurant, okay for a neighborhood eatery and certainly popular with hungry people.
