Gemischter Salat

Cordon bleu mit Röschti

Rechnung

The Restaurant Gessnerallee is one of the places which has seen time pass by but never changed. If you’re looking for a place to play some Jass, this is certainly a decent location. The salad I started with was served on a very stylish plate, but was without love or great care. Especially the scoop of rice salad was weird, dry and missed the mark. The cordon bleu which followed was cooked too dark and to greasy. I stayed away from french fries and opted for roeschti to go with it. Unfortunatley it too was greasy, it didn’t form a coherent cake and was lacking crunch. The place is all atmosphere and doesn’t provide much in terms of food – still it’s cheap and worth to have visited once in your life in Zurich:
