Gemischter Menusalat

Schnitzel mit Tomatenspaghetti

You didn’t think I’d stop, because of a dinner with the Zueritipp ? I still have a few good years left. In need for a lunch I stopped at the Cafe Letzistübli. This is an owner run place next to Hubertus. The menu is small and it seems that it has been like this for years. I get a mixed salad (at no extra charge) for my lunch and while it wasn’t a serious attempt at a salad, I have to give an A for effort. They tried hard. Main course was a Schnitzel (to my shame I was unsure what the meat was, either chicken or pork) with tomato spaghetti. It wasn’t very good but at 14 CHF, what could you expect ? And I had a copy of the Blick to read during lunch, so I was okay based on price. Nevertheless, why not charge 5 bucks more and provide a decent Schnitzel ?
