Cafe Dihei Zmorge mit Kater

I decided to revisit the Kafi Dihei after a lunch I had earlier in the year. The challenge on a Sunday is getting a table. The decor is still quaint and it attracts a lot of people. I went for the Breakfast featuring eggs, maple sausages, bacon, onion marmelade, mushrooms and homemade bread. The bread wasn’t that terrific, next time I’ll go for one of the fantastic looking croissants. The fluffy scrambled eggs came with a fantastic onion marmelade. Piling a bite of eggs and onions on my fork just made my day. The maple sausages had a slight sweet undertone, while I was intrigued by the (assumed) maple syrup it wasn’t my favourite type of breakfast sausage. Then again, none of the Commonwealth states manage to convince me with their sausage products.

The Kafi Dihei is a great place for brunch, it’s the right mix of cosy and busy and has some fantastic components. Go for the eggs with bacon and onion marmelade or the regular breakfast with croissants on a Sunday, grab a paper and relax. And don’t forget the espresso, pretty good as well!
