Quick breakfast calls for Cafe Lang. The cooked egg is a staple challenge of many a chef’s competition. The sunny-side up version I had here would have been one of the top contenders, also the way the bacon was crisped was exemplary. The small bread basket, was filled with a good selection, maybe not the absolute pinnacle in terms of bread, but certainly a very good level and for 9 swiss franks pretty good value for money. I liked the cozy interior and will be back.

if the espresso is the same quality as the one served in “la stanza” (the best in town)*, i suggest you go back there. *i’ve read that la stanza and cafe lang belong to the same person/company…

thats right. la stanza, café lang and hotel rivington & sons (in the prime tower) are owned by the same people AND they servce the same espresso 🙂
