Tisis – Sauce für Alles

I’ve mentioned this sauce from the Restaurant Rietberg before. For years they’ve been serving this homemade delicacy and it is one of the reasons to visit this establishment. And what a surprise I had during my last visit – they are now producing and selling it under the name of Tisis. Now clue what the name means, but this is beside the point. The light orange color of the contrasts contrasts lovely against any white plate you put it on and the taste is fantastic. It truly is like no other sauce I’ve had before. Spicy, creamy, salty, rich – its somewhat of a spicy french cocktail sauce. There’s nothing better for french fries. And now you can enjoy it from the comfort of your home.
